GiGi’s Playhouse Atlanta is a nonprofit Down syndrome awareness, education, and therapeutic center dedicated to providing free therapeutic programs to individuals with Down syndrome, also known as T21, and their families. GiGi’s Playhouse is positioned to address the gross motor, fine motor, and intellectual development of children with T21. The earlier aggressive therapeutic interventions take place in these areas the greater the possibility that GiGi’s participants will achieve a more independent life.
GiGi’s addresses these needs by offering, for free, more than 26 different literacy tutoring programs, a math program, muscle toning exercises, physical, occupational, and speech therapies, family support, social events and a vast referrals network.
GiGi’s Playhouse Atlanta’s yearly events raise the much needed funds to run the Playhouse. 100% of all proceeds are donated to the Playhouse. GiGi’s Playhouse Atlanta is registered with the IRS as a 501(c)(3) corporation, tax ID# 20-0058563.
